Trends in the 2012 Elections

In this class, we will have a critical dialogue on leadership, ideas and the political process. Participants will define great leadership traits and use these to rank candidates. Party and candidate planks will be analyzed for their possible effects on American values, stability and strength. We will discuss the roles that money and advertising, truth vs. distortion, unions, individuals, the media and corporations play in the nominating process.
