Richard Parker

Richard Parker earned a B.A. from Iowa State University and an M.A. in Art History at Drake University. He taught United States History and other social studies classes at Des Moines Hoover High School for more than 30 years. A talented teacher and skillful discussion leader, Parker used the Great Decisions materials in his classes for several years. Now retired, Parker is a professional water color artist.
